Survey information

The survey collects your rating, an optional comment, the survey language and submission time. A product or campaign reference is included only when the survey explicitly identifies it. The form does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or order number. Please avoid putting personal or payment details in comments.

Ratings, comments and store satisfaction totals are saved in the merchant’s Shopify data. Free retains individual responses for 30 days; Pro retains them for 12 months. Daily totals are retained for up to 12 months. A public satisfaction badge, when enabled, shows only the score, response count and time window.

App operations

Sitetrail uses Cloudflare to host the app, process secure requests and maintain encrypted Shopify sessions, plan status and limited operational counters. Feedback passes through the app to Shopify. Sitetrail does not keep a separate database of survey comments. Operational receipts expire after seven days once saving and summary updates are confirmed.

Short-lived, hashed network identifiers help limit abuse. Optional support and review-search click counts are measured only when Shopify’s customer privacy controls allow analytics. ReviewBridge does not sell survey information or use comments to train an AI model.

Other services

Support links open the merchant’s chosen service, including WhatsApp, Telegram or its support website. Review discovery opens Google search, from which you choose the business profile. Those services have their own privacy terms. ReviewBridge does not read or store those conversations or external reviews.

Survey and test emails are sent through the merchant’s Shopify Messaging account or its existing email provider. ReviewBridge does not run an email sender.

Merchant requests

Merchants can inspect app-owned survey records in Shopify and contact Sitetrail for help with a particular response. Shopify’s required privacy webhooks are authenticated and processed. Uninstalling revokes app access; app-owned Shopify data follows Shopify’s removal process. Operational store data is removed on Shopify’s shop-redaction request, subject to a subsequent active reinstall.
